We can’t wait to welcome you to our Main Campus in Horsforth for your Sport and Wellbeing Applicant Experience Day.
Your Applicant Experience Day is the perfect opportunity to get a feel for life at Leeds Trinity University.
You’ll get to meet other new students, explore the facilities where you’ll study, get to know some of your future lecturers, and take part in an interactive subject taster session during your visit.
Your Interactive subject sessions
Physical Education and Sports Coaching - Everybody Active!
Are you ready to make a difference through sport? Discover how PE teachers and sports coaches transform lives – from schoolchildren and community members to elite athletes.
In this interactive session, you'll explore real case studies and work in groups to create innovative solutions that get people moving, happier, and healthier.
You’ll hear from staff about career paths after your degree and learn from current students about what it's really like to study at LTU, all before finishing with a tour of our specialist facilities and equipment.
Sport and Exercise Sciences - Sport and Exercise Sciences in Action: Turning Science into Performance and Health
From elite athletes to everyday health, see how sport science changes lives.
You'll explore the science behind performance, health, and wellbeing through a session designed to mirror real teaching and learning on the course. Then get practical: collect and analyse fitness data in small groups and experience the lab-based teaching that defines our course.
There’s also an opportunity to hear from current students about placements and assessments. You’ll leave confident you've chosen the right degree and ready to make an impact.
Sports Therapy and Rehabilitation - Late-Stage Rehabilitation and Strength and Conditioning for Performance: Developing Change of Direction and Agility
Step into a real Sports Therapy practical session and experience late-stage rehabilitation and strength and conditioning in action.
You'll collect and analyse real data, measuring jump height, change of direction, and agility, then investigate what it reveals about performance. Explore the crucial difference between change of direction and agility, adapt tests, and try performance-enhancing exercises yourself.
This mirrors exactly how you'll learn on our Sports Therapy and Rehabilitation programme: alternating between theory discussions and hands-on application in our specialist facilities.
Meet other applicants, ask your questions, and leave knowing this is where you belong.
